Ok, so I guess I'll start with the boring stuff.

First off I'm a married father of two beautiful girls, currently 6 and 3, so the sanity level runs very shallow in my household. I have worked for the same Telecommunications company (sort of) for the past 10 years and am currently doing my time as a Fiber Initiatives Planning Engineer. The less than impressive title basically means I design high-speed fiber-optic networks (YAWN). And yes, it is as boring as it sounds.

With that said I can get on to my main two passions (aside from my family) NASCAR and Harry Potter. Not two things you would normally find in the same sentence, but there you go. As for NASCAR, I have been following the sport faithfully for about 8 years now and am a fanatic for the #20 (half my wardrobe is orange). I have successfully converted my entire family to the sport and you can find me and my girls in front of the TV every Sunday from February thru November cheering our heads off.

With NASCAR out of the way I come to my main obsession... Harry Potter and the infamous Orange Crush. I discovered the world of HP about 4 years ago and have been hooked from my first visit to Privet Drive. I have just recently delved into the world of Fan Fiction and after reading a considerable amount, I attempted my own little foray into the writing world. I guess you can say that this LJ will primarily be centered around that world. I will post my writing here, among other sites, as well as some of my day to day ramblings. So if you're up for it, stop by from time to time, take a look around and let me know if you like (or dislike) what you see.
